Long time, no blogging! Here's another year gone by....recap style.

wherein the baby turns 21
I could go on and on!
Happy birthday, Amy! Even though the law says you're an adult, you'll always be my little sweet pea.
And I love you.

75 Happy Years
Guess who turned 75 yesterday?
Grandma!
There was the traditional off key singing at the top of our lungs....
which may have made the birthday girl's ears bleed.
Happy Birthday G-ma!!

This Week at our House
Lots of this...
(Just so you can appreciate how much of this, look at the grocery sack in the background of the first photo. He went through two whole boxes of tissues in one day!)

Salt Creek
One of the advantages to having a kid who takes Digital Photography: sometimes you find the most awesome pictures on your camera!
While the hubs and I were out looking at houses (yes, we are still renting!) we dropped the boys off at Salt Creek County Beach, where the waves were spectacular.
Here's one to give you a little perspective! (See the little surfer off to the right?)
This is the point that Dana Point is named for. One of these days I'll give you a little recap on Richard Henry Dana...but I'm going to have to get pictures of The Pilgrim first, so you'll have to wait just a tiny bit longer, mmmkay?
Pictures courtesy of Colin, who never updates his blog.

Rain Rain Go Away
You may have heard that we had a spot of rain here in California.
It was quite the event! It pretty much rained for a week straight, which threw a majority of Californians into a tizzy. I have to admit, it's pretty unnerving to drive on the freeway in the rain, considering how fast people drive here. Actually, it's not how fast they drive, but how closely they follow each other. Well, at any rate, my week wasn't spent on the freeway, thank goodness, and I rather enjoyed the rain. Bring it on, I say!
One of the last storms had the tiniest bit of hail, so of course that prompted a little hail throwing, the closest we'll ever get to snow around here!
Two silly California boys!
