Advent Ornaments: Day Seven

Today, we look ahead to the Easter story--Jesus, sent to earth to save sinners, accomplishing the work by dying on the cross.
Isaiah 53:5-6
But He was pierced through for our transgressions,
He was crushed for our iniquities;
The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him,
And by His scourging we are healed.
All of us like sheep have gone astray,
Each of us has turned to his own way;
But the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all
To fall on Him.

Up until today, all of the ornaments you have seen have been handmade by me. But today's ornament was actually crafted by Brian four years ago when he was seven! Didn't he do a great job? I think it is beautiful!

Since today is Sunday, do you think you can handle another snippet of Scripture? This one is the heart of the gospel!
1 Corinthians 15:3-4
For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.
